DAY ONE; Name, hometown, current location, profession, future plans

I got the leak of Beirut's new album...
It’s fucking incredible.
Art: Paul and I go back to the sixth grade where we grew up in Queens. They cast the two of us in the Elementary school graduation play "Alice in Wonderland" and I was the Cheshire Cat. And... it's been a lot of laughs ever since. With a few interruptions, this year would be the 50th anniversary of this friendship that I deeply cherish.
Paul: We met when we were eleven years old in "Alice in Wonderland" and I was the White Rabbit-- a leading role. And Artie was the Cheshire Cat-- a supporting role. A very important, a very important supporting role. We started to sing together when we were thirteen years old and... we started to argue when we were fourteen years old. So that makes this the 47th anniversary of... our arguing. And now we don't argue anymore; now we say, "That's your opinion, and I respect that." We made our first record when we were sixteen years old-- they called us Tom & Jerry and our song was called "Hey Schoolgirl in the second row" and it went like this.

Paul: There is some debate as to where the woo-bop a loochi-ba came from. Some scholars feel it comes from the Little Richard oeuvre. And... Artie thinks that we got it from Gene Vincent's record "Be-Bop-A-Lula".
Art: But I respect the Little Richard theory.
Art: No, we only argued about one thing, if you want to know the truth, from the very beginning. There was only one thing that was the basis of everything else. When we first formed our group, I wanted to call us 'Garfunkel & Simon'.
Paul: You should do that.
Art: He convinced me that it should be alphabetical.
Paul: Now we're the Smothers Brothers.
I have this weird desire to do this...

NEED SENIOR PHOTOS?
Again, for anyone in my class or graduating around Auburn or Lewiston ME, I can do studio and outdoor photography, 30 bucks per photo session, which is an AWESOME PRICE. I’m trying to make some cash, due to my lack of a job, and I’ve got a good handle on photoshop and and even better one on my Canon Rebel.
increbresco asked: They have a bunch of baby dwarf bunnies at the animal shelter in Lewiston!
We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to...
